He was a
Professor of piano at the Royal College and the Royal Academy of Music
where he also became Head of Postgraduate Performance Studies. He has
been Director of several International Summer Schools and of the
Australian National Academy of Music. Now based in London again, he is
in great demand as a teacher and is a Visiting Professor in 11 countries
including Japan, where he teaches regularly in Tokyo and at the
Kirishima International Festival. He is a regular Professor at the
Mozarteum Summer Academy in Salzburg and a jury member of international
competitions. The Royal Academy of Music has awarded Frank Wibaut with
their highest honour, an
Honorary RAM,
for his outstanding service to music worldwide.
