| ロンドンの王立音楽アカデミーでウィリアム・ベネット、パリでアラン・マリオンのもとで研鑚を積む。ロイヤルコンセルトヘボウ管、フィルハーモニア管、ＢＢＣ響、イギリス室内管 などとの共演をはじめ、シュカンパ弦楽四重奏団、ナッシュ・アンサンブル等とも共演。ＢＢＣウェールズ響の首席奏者をつとめた後、95年よりオランダのアムステルダムに本拠を置く、名門ロイヤル・コンセルトへボウ管の首席奏者として活躍する かたわら、ハーグ音楽院で教鞭をとっている。 | Studied with William Bennett at the Royal Academy of Music and with Alain Marion in Paris. As a concerto soloist, appeared with the Philharmonia Orchestra, Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, English Chamber Orchestra etc. In addition, given �recitals at major venues and festivals in Britain and appeared as a guest with the ?kampa Quartet, the Nash Ensemble etc. Currently, principal flute of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam. |
